TP Alaska Designs and my obsession with making cozy wearables began over 20 years ago when I got chilly at my summer job working for a glacier tour company here in Juneau, Alaska. So, I picked up a library book, taught myself to crochet hats, and basically never stopped.
My family have been makers as far back as I can recall - you can find painters, crafters, actors, musicians, gardeners, knitters - you name it. I’m proud to work with my hands and create pieces that bring a spark of joy and some function to people’s lives. I design each unique knit pattern to reflect my needs and my life, so my collections are often released in small batches and shift with the seasons.
